Silky Oak. A rapid growing evergreen tree with, large handsome, fern like leaves that are deep green above and grey-green underneath. Once mature this tree has rich gold blooms that decorate the tree from spring to summer. Loves a warm position and well drained soil. Tolerant of light frost.

The 'Silky Oak' may take up to 10 years to start flowering however this tree has such a nice shape and form that it is worthy of planting even if it never flowers.

The Australian Frangipani is a fast growing slender tree with glossy, dark green, pointed foliage. In spring and summer the tree is smothered with dainty, highly fragrant creamy-yellow flowers. Needs a sheltered site in full sun with protection from harsh frost and wind. Evergreen.

If you look at the flowers of this tree carefully you will see that it is closely related to our native Pittosporum - in fact they are in the same plant family - CER in action!
